When client Omaha National Insurance needed an attention-grabbing idea for a magazine cover tip
campaign, Smith Kroeger created an out-of-this-world concept. It was designed to announce the
arrival of Omaha National in the states of Illinois and Pennsylvania and revolved around an alien
invasion.
The first two ads teased the reader by letting them know that something exciting was coming soon. The
third ad revealed the Omaha National logo parked in front of a recognizable scene from each state.
