Boy Scouts of America Mid-America Council came to us needing a video for its annual Big Gives Luncheon that involved telling an emotional story, and we were up for the challenge.
The story featured Kevin Hanna, who survived the 2008 tornado that killed four of his fellow troop members at Little Sioux Scout Ranch, a Boy Scout camp in eastern Iowa. He has now graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center as a doctor and is completing his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
The Mid-America Council wanted to share Hanna’s story, including his involvement with scouting and the Little Sioux tragedy and how they influenced his choice to become a physician. Our job was to produce a video of his experiences, which called for sensitivity when reflecting on the 2008 disaster.
We are honored to be able to have captured such an inspiring story and work with organizations like Boy Scouts of America Mid-America Council.
